1. The welding tongs and welding wires used by electric welders must be well insulated, and the fuses of electric welders must be appropriate. It is strictly forbidden to share a set of fuses for two welders. When pushing on the power switch, protective gloves should be worn, and the other hand should not be pressed on the outer casing of the welder. The outer casing of the electric welder must be well grounded, and the installation and disassembly of its power supply should be performed by electricians.
2. Oxygen and acetylene cylinders are prohibited from being exposed to the sun or impacted, and should be stored separately and isolated. Ensure that the gas cylinders are not contaminated with grease and other flammable substances. During operation, the two types of cylinders must maintain a safe distance of more than 5 meters.
3. The pressure gauge on the acetylene generator should be sensitive and effective, and the anti-backfire device should be intact. Acetylene generators with incomplete devices and poor performance are prohibited from use. Acetylene generators are prohibited from being placed in high-temperature open flame workrooms.
4. The stop valve and pressure reducing valve on the gas cylinder should be intact. The oxygen cylinder shall not be used if the pressure in the oxygen cylinder drops below 196KPa. When the gas welding operation needs to stop for 10 to 15 minutes, the pressure reducing valve adjustment screw must be loosened. If it is not working for a long time, the valve should be closed and the pressure reducer should be removed.
5. The leather hose for conveying oxygen and acetylene gas should be intact and leak-proof. It must not come into contact with grease and high temperature. It is strictly forbidden to press the hose with heavy objects to prevent sparks and sharp materials from falling on the hose.
6. When using a gas welding gun to ignite, it must be operated in the order of "open acetylene first, close acetylene first".
7. Welders must wear safety helmets and safety belts when working at heights. It is strictly forbidden to climb with welding wires and leather hoses wrapped around their bodies. Isolation boards should be set up during three-dimensional operations to prevent sparks from splashing or cutting residues from falling.
8. When drying welding rods, check whether the steam guide valve of the oven is effective; when feeding welding rods into the oven,
the power must be cut off. After the materials are taken out, the inspection inside the oven must be strengthened to prevent welding rods or debris from falling on the electric tungsten wire, causing short circuits or electric shock accidents.
9. After the welding operation is completed, the power supply should be cut off, the welding machine should be placed in a proper place, the site should be checked, and the fire should be extinguished. The welding site should be equipped with fire extinguishing equipment.
